Mr. Burkard has over three decades of experience in real estate, encompassing investment, financing, asset management, and development. In 2005, he founded Four Corners Properties (FCP), a company specializing in value-add urban infill projects and redevelopment of commercial properties in Northern California. Since inception, FCP has developed approximately $1.9 billion in more than 60 buildings totaling 4.4 million square feet.

Prior to FCP, Mr. Burkard held various positions including Acquisitions Director at Broadreach Capital Partners, Vice President of Leasing at Equity Office Properties Trust (EOP), and Project Director at Spieker Properties, where he managed acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and management of a diverse portfolio in the Silicon Valley.

Before joining Spieker in 1998, Mr. Burkard spent five years at Bank of America working across various departments including Real Estate REO, Real Estate Project Finance, National Accounts, and the Real Estate Special Assets Group. He currently serves as a ULI council member and past president of NAOIP Silicon Valley. Additionally, as a graduate of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, he actively participates in various volunteer organizations within the community.

Mr. Burkard holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a second major in European History from Bucknell University.
