
Rich Ying
Principal
Mr. Ying joined Four Corners Properties in 2012 and is responsible for development and acquisition opportunities in Silicon Valley. He has over 10 years of commercial real estate experience, including development, finance, marketing, sales, leasing and construction management.
Prior to joining Four Corners Properties, Mr. Ying was a Vice President with the Development and Value Add Group at RREEF, Deutsche Bank’s real estate investment management division. There, he oversaw $900 million of development and value add investments in select west coast markets. Before RREEF, Mr. Ying was part of MacFarlane Partners’ acquisition efforts, where he helped underwrite and structure over $400 million of new development investments.
Mr. Ying began his career as an investment banking Analyst with Merrill Lynch, where he was subsequently promoted to Associate and later Vice President. While at Merrill Lynch, Mr. Ying successfully raised over $4.5 billion of debt and equity capital on behalf of corporate and municipal clients. Before transitioning to commercial real estate, he spent time in various management positions in finance and corporate development with an early stage venture capital firm and its portfolio companies.
Mr. Ying graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a second major in Management.
